Show and Tell

This week, Muinteoir Lisa joined us for Show and Tell. Each of us brought a special toy to school and showed it to our friends in circle time. We all described our toy using at least 3 sentences.

Prize for Best Líne

We earned all 10 stars for best line this week! Then we voted to have a surprise treat and movie party! Múinteoir Ailish made some cookie sandwiches for our mystery treat and we loved them!

Mindful movements

This week we practised mindful movements with Michelle. It was a great relaxing and focused activity that helped us to concentrate our minds and bodies.

Attendance Awards

Well done to the children in our class who received their Bronze Awards today for full attendance in the first term of school.  Keep it up and Merry Christmas everyone!

Cookie Recipe

Today we baked cookies as a special Christmas treat for performing so well at our Christmas play on Tuesday! First we gathered the ingredients for the recipe and then we followed the instructions to make them. They were delicious! Here is the recipe, if you'd like to bake some at home for Santa!

Our Christmas Show!

On Tuesday, we performed our Christmas Show for our families in the hall. We learned all about the story of the nativity and our play, What a Star! told the story of Leo, a little star who wasn't able to shine very brightly. But God had a special job for him to do... he had to show the way to the stable and manger where baby Jesus was born. We were all so proud of how all of the children performed for our musical!
