Our Indoor Forest Garden

Múinteoir Karmel and Múinteoir Damien have been working really hard in our school to make a beautiful indoor forest garden for all the children and grown-up's to enjoy! They have added some beautiful flowers, trees, plants and other living things to our garden. We can use of our senses to experience and enjoy the garden, from listening to the beautiful outdoor sounds like singing birds and gushing water, to smelling the blossoming spring flowers, to looking at the budding trees and plants around the garden. We love our school garden so much and some of us have even brought some things from nature to add to our garden! We can't wait to see the garden as it changes during the spring season!

Mindful Movements

We have been very lucky in our school to be learning about Mindfulness this year. We are working on our mind-up lessons each week and practising our mindful brain breaks each day. To help us to become even more mindful, we are now doing Mindful Movements with Michelle! Look at the pictures below to see how mindful we are becoming!

Wally & Tiny Turtle

Wally brought a friend with him to our school today - Tiny Turtle! He's been teaching us all about how to keep calm when we get frustrated. He teaches us that we should take 3 deep breaths and imagine our happy place when we take some time out in our shell!
