Dina Schools

We are learning about good behaviour and how it helps us to learn everyday. We are learning the Show Me Five rules - looking eyes, listening ears, hands still, feet still and a quiet mouth. We know that by following these rules, we will be able to learn really well in Senior Infants.

Dina Schools

This week Wally came to visit our classroom and told us about how he was frustrated on Friday at golden time, because he had nobody to play with. He took 3 feel breaths to keep himself calm but he was still feeling lonely. So then he thought very hard and decided he would ask the others if he could play with them. He was very happy to join in with the others in their game. In our class we did role plays to act out what happened to Wally and the children in our class were very good at letting Wally play. We like to include people in our class and make sure that nobody is left out at games and on yard.

Hurling

We love doing hurling each week with Kevin, our hurling coach. We learn new skills each week and play a game before we finish up, go practise our new skills!
